I'm back and working on Chaos.. AGAIN! this time its all RT era stuff, first up is:

Started work on my RT Blood Slaughter, which I managed to trade for. Sadly it didn't have arms so I made a pair from Plasma's off a Leman Russ (Counts as a Plasma Cannon in game terms). Also add spikes/chains/skulls from the Plastic DP box.

I'm Back my fellow dark souled adepts!

I'm back from a year away from the hobby, a lot has happened in that time. I've Moved house and gotten Engaged, and lost most my collection apart from a few army's i hold dear to my heart. But i now feel the time has come for me to start up once again.

And i decided to start with my old Chaos Rogue Trader Renegades. This is where i need your help, If anyone can help a fellow gamer get back into the hobby and spare a few of these classic models either for a small charge/Swap/Trade or in the Xmas spirit for free ;) I would forever be indebted you all.

Anything will be a great help, but Khorne Bezerkers (The skull faced half naked ones) / Orginal Noise Marines/ Heavy/Special Weapons Troopers needed the most.

Necrons Commission Work

Necrons without raving green glowsticks!

Hey fellow darkness followers, today i bring forth a change from guardsmen and bring you Necrons! with a slight change... No silly green glowsticks!

These are a couple of the commissioned Necrons i been doing for a fellow Watford gamer, i pretty much had free reign on the colours. These 2 about 50% done and lack the Lava bases, the finished ones have already been given back.

As you see, no silly green glowsticks, but a more sinister Orange glowing ones, which match the Lava bases (Not done on these ones yet)

More upgrading bases & Praetorian commision work

Renegade Captain, Lascannon, & Praetorian Commision Work

Hey fellow sons of the Abyss, today i have for you my Rebased Puppet Captain, a new Lascannon Team and a Praetorian commision from a fellow Watford gamer.

This is my little Praetorian commission i was asked too do, im very please with the painting which only took around an hour to finish.

Re-based Puppet Captain, nothing fancy.. just enough to make him stand out.

Another Heavy weapon Veteran team, ready for the upcoming Laserburn Tourney in Feb.

Bring up the Seige Guns! Malcador's to the fore!

Welcome fellow minions of the higher powers

Today i bring forth from the forges of the 17th a Malcador!, with 7 Heavy Bolters and a Demo Cannon it will lay waste to the warriors of the false ways.

Im quite happy how the battle damage turned out, not too much to take away from the clean coating and not too little it looks new out of the forges.

I also have 4 more Chimeras painted up and ready to go along with the one already done (Pics of that one already posted), Next on my list is 3 standard Russ's and 2 more weapon teams.

Re-based ''Boomsticks'' Heavy Weapons and Better Pics

Hey my fellow things that goes bump in the night.

A small update of the few re-based ''Boomsticks'' from the last update, along with clearer pics.

First i have to say these Custom Bases are amazing and so cheap, 99p for 2. Well worth the price.

Boomstick One

Boomstick One and Loader, has to be the one im most happy with at the moment.

Boomstick Two

Boomstick 2 and loader, i really like the way these 2 are posed with the Loader scanning for new targets.

Third Boomstick and Lascannon is still needs to be re-based as soon as the rest of my Bases come though the post.

Hey fellow Dark Warriors.

Yes i know its been awhile since i posted a update, BUT! i have a large update to post in the next few weeks.. until then heres a little update called ''Boomstick'' for your viewing plessure.

This is the real power behind the Traitor 17th, a Alpha-Level Psyker called Papa Chico. His little back story is that he mind controled the former Commander of the 17th Mech a man named Commander Mulo to rebel against his higher command.

The Boomstick boys, there on the wrong size bases and missing loaders.. but thats soon to be fixed as im just waiting for some Resin custom 60mm bases to be shipped. Until then i used 40mm to get them gaming ready.

Hmm in the pictures there Boomsticks seem shiny.. and fail to show the grim i spent time painting on. Oh well least there better then my last lot of photos heh.

Hey fellow followers of the true gods, today i ask for a favour or two from you all.
Forgeworld doesn't except my new Card or Paypal (Which is very annoying to say the least), so now i turn to you guys which may have a few odd Renegade Guard bits laying around that your willing to sell. I will but pretty much anything from Crew to Weapon arms to Ogyrns and Torsos.

I will buy them in any state of repair be it new or used, painted or unpainted. For the righ price of course.

Welcome fellow Renegades and Traitors to the false Emperor. A couple of weeks ago my local GW store (Watford) had a 1000 Point 40k Knockout Tournment, below is the winning list which i fielded.

1000 Point Guard.

Company Command Squad = 95 Points
Commander - Power Weapon
Vet - Regimental Standard
2 Vets - 2 Melta Guns

Chimera = 55 Points

Primaris Psyker = 70 Points

Vet Squad 1 = 100 Points
Vet Serg - Power Weapon
3 Vets = 2 Melta Guns

Chimera = 55 Points

Vet Squad 2 = 100 Points
Vet Serg - Power Weapon
2 Vets = 2 Melta Guns

Chimera = 55 Points

Vet Squad 3 = 115 Points
Vet Serg - Power Weapon
2 Vets = 2 Plasma Guns, Missile Launcher

Chimera = 55 Points

Leman Russ - 150 Points

Here is a little run down of the armies i faced:

Game 1: Dark Eldar
His force had 5 Raiders and 1 Ravager, and a few Warrior squads with 2 Dark Lances each. 1 Wych Squad and tooled up Lord and Bodyguard. This game all went down to who went first as we both had so many Tanks and heavy firepower. Lucky for me i went first and using the Order ''Bring it down'' was able to knock out 3 Raiders (2 destroyed & 1 lost its dark Lance). The rest of the game consisted of me hunting down all his units for Kill Points.

Game 2: Deamons
His force contained a Bloodthirster, 2 Units of Bloodletters, Skull Taker, The Masque. He got first turn and had won his choice of what part of his force
that he got to deepstrike. My first turn was pretty hardcore as i shot down both the Bloodthirster and half the Bloodletters. Next turn the rest of the Deamons came and the pain started. His Bloodletters (which lost half there number) charged against 2 vets squads (Was a bad set up by me, but i was trying to wipe out the squad) wipping them out to man. Turn 3/4 saw my tanks taking out his remaining troops with great effect. End result every Deamon dead and banished.

Game 3: Imperial Guard
His force had many many squads which he joined together into 30-40 man units, and a single tank. This game had to be the most annoying as the player quit turn 3 because he wasn't doing so well. Oh well Victory to me!

Game 4 The Final: Black Templars
His force contained 2 20 man Marine Squads, 2 Vindicators and the Emperor's Chump. I don't remember too much about this game other then i wiped him out before he got to combat and my units didn't leave there transports (Except popping the hatch to fire meltaguns). Coimplete wipe out.

This was fun event, with 3 out of the 4 games being a good fun. Thanks Mike at the Watford store for running it!

Been a busy boy, Large Update!

Finished of painting alot in the last few days, so heres the next batch of pictures (Large size but not as clean)

Squads 3 & 4 Sergeants, again using Necro weapons to make the stand out. In game terms they'll be power weapons.

As im doing a list from the Guard Codex as well as IA7. i want to have a have a high number of Plasma and Melta weapons for my Veteran troop choices. Every Squad will be modeled with a Comm-link, but just counts as a standard guardmen in game terms.

I was very lucky getting given the Limted Ed Gamesday 07 Renegade Ogyrn with DKOK Victim for a birthday pressent. This squad is very much WIP and lacking washs to tone it down.

First of 5 Chimeras, i loved painting this. And i hope you agree it came out very well.

Necrosius Conversion and first Squad Sergeants Conversions

Necrosius, Vile Death Guard. A Former Apothacary in the Death Legion now turned to the dark arts of Father Nurgle. His rules can be found in IA7.

This is a simple Kit Bash conversion which i hope you agree stands out, along with a cracked bone paint job.

Squads 1 & 2 Sergeants, ones again standard FW Torsos and Assault pack arms with Necromunda Weapons. Can you see a theme here?

Renegade Command Squad

The Commander, converted from a plastic Tank Commander and Necromunda mace. Rather then having a Gas mask. I went for a soiled rag tied around his mouth and neck. Banner is from the old Chaso Knights standard.

The 2 Melta Gunners, no conversions here but like every other Traitor in this force it uses the FW Torsos and Assault Weapon packs.

The final members of the Command Squad, notice the comm-link torso from the Assault weapon pack also with a Necromuda weapon.
